# Clicks Limited Warranty
> Learn about the Clicks warranty - what’s covered, how to claim, and our commitment to quality and customer support.
## We've got you covered!
We’ve put our blood, sweat and tears into Clicks and stand behind our product. Our one-year warranty is there to protect you against material and workmanship defects.
If you experience any faults or quality issues related to the manufacture of your Clicks Keyboard, you’ll be able to return it for a free replacement.
The warranty is valid for one year from the date your Clicks Keyboard was originally purchased.
Here are a few examples of rare defects that are typically covered under warranty:
Defects in moulding or finishing
Faults in the keyboard, circuit board or backlighting
USB-C or lightning connection issues
## What's not covered?
We understand accidents can, and do happen. Our warranty policy is limited to faults and defects within our control.
For that reason, our limited warranty doesn’t cover products that have:
Defects caused by wear and tear\
Been maltreated or used in a way not compatible with the instructions or reasonable normal care\
Cosmetic damage like scratches, dents, gouges or scrapes\
Been modified or altered\
Been exposed to water, excessive humidity
While each warranty claim will be evaluated on it’s own merits, damage typically not covered under warranty includes:
Broken keyboards as a result of a fall or being sat on\
Worn or chipped keys due to drops or scape damage\
Physical damage to the Type-C or lightning port

## Clicks warranty FAQs
Warranty claims must be made no later than one year from the date the order is delivered.
Customers should contact [support@clicks.tech](mailto:support@clicks.tech) to initiate a warranty claim.
When a warranty claim is submitted, Clicks will share further information on the process for determining whether the defect is covered by the limited warranty.
If the issue is covered by the warranty, Clicks may offer to repair or replace the unit depending on the nature of the defect. This repair or replacement will happen at no cost to the customer. Certified open box product may be used as replacement. Clicks may also decide to offer a full or partial refund.
If Clicks Keyboard isn’t within its warranty period, or suffered accidental damage, then you may be eligible to purchase a certified open box Clicks keyboard at a reduced price.
No unless proof of purchase from Clicks or a trusted retailer can be provided.
